Great question! A catechism is a tool for teaching new believers in Jesus the basics of the Christian faith. It’s been used for centuries all over the world and across all denominations. The Cross Formed Kids catechism is unique in that it is structured exactly like the Bible! When your kids memorize the Cross Formed Kids catechism, they’re building shelves in their heart and mind where they can store all the truth that they’ll learn from Scripture across a lifetime.
The Covenants are the building blocks of the Bible. They mark the high points of the people of God across history! Almost every story in the entire Bible talks about or makes reference to one of these primary stories called the Covenants. These are the moments when God made clearer and clearer His special promise to save us from our sin through Jesus Christ. By learning the Covenants, we can understand all of scripture much more clearly and accurately.
